Research Principles
- Constitution first — Competence and validity of statutes are tested against the Constitution (separate page).
- Bare Act + amendments — Always read the principal Act with latest amendments and repeals.
- Subordinate law — Rules, notifications and GOs must be read with the parent statute.
- GOs in practice — Cite GO number, date and department; often decisive in service and land matters.
- Case law last step — Use Judgments / Case Laws hubs for interpretation after the bare text.
